For purposes of SACCO empowering members to become land lords but also to make a higher return for the shareholders investment, SACCO, invests in buying and selling of land.
Methods of buying land from the SACCO.
1. Payment of full total consideration
Under this arrangement, full consideration is paid for the price of the plot and signed transfer forms and the original title are handed over to the buyer to effect the transfer of ownership.
2. Part payment of the total consideration
Under
this arrangement, 50% of the total consideration is paid and the the
balance is given to the buyer in form of a loan.
When the loan is fully paid, then the
buyer is given signed transfer forms and the original title to effect
the transfer of ownership.
